Who can register?
The program is open to professionals from higher education institutions and accreditation agencies in the APEC region.
How much does it cost to enrol?
The program is funded by APEC and is cost-free for institutions in the Asia Pacific region, from economies members of APEC.
is it a content-based program?
The program has a very practical and hands-on apprach. Paticipants will be able to put in practice what they learn in their current activities and work on the strategies of their own institutions.
in what language is the course?
All material in the modules is in English language (official APEC language).
can my institution enrol more than one team?
To take full advantage of the program, institutions are invited to enrol teams of 3 professionals who currently work – or intend to work – on online education. Each ‘team’ should involve one academic; one staff working on QA and or online program design; and one head of department.
One institution can enrol more than one team, subject to availability.
are sessions syncrhonous or asynchronous?
Modules are designed for self management (asynchronous). Participants need to complete their work within a timeframe, but in their own times.
Only the online workshops (2) will be synchronous.
can i register individually?
To make most of the program, participants should enrol in teams of 3 professionals per higher education institution. Participants from accreditation agencies may enrol individually.
How long is the program?
Each module takes 5 to 7 hours to complete, including off screen time. Modules are realeased in batches of 2 and participants have 8 weeks to complete both modules.
The Modules will be available online from May until October 2022.
What are the online workshops about?
Online workshops provide a chance to consolidate learnings and interact with other participants.
During the workshops participants will complete activities and engage in active exchanges with their peers.
